    A dog bed is a piece of furniture, whatever the dog thinks of it, and the colour is the first thing anyone sees. Our pink dog beds come in old pink and soft pink, in double corduroy and the soft Little Square fabric. Pink works when it is a grown-up pink: old pink corduroy next to grey or white reads as dusty rose, not as a toy. It is the colour for a bedroom, a girl's room or a pale living room with brass and linen. Underneath is the same bed as every Dog's Companion dog bed: an inner cushion filled with EPS beads that moulds to the way your dog lies, reinforced seams and a sturdy zip, made in our own workshop in the Netherlands. The cover zips off and goes in the washing machine, and there are pink extra covers when you want a spare or a change of fabric in the same colour.

    Which pink dog bed?

    Soft. Old pink is a dusty, greyed rose that sits next to grey, white and natural wood; the Little Square soft pink is a lighter powder tone. Neither is a candy pink. Every bed comes in five sizes: Extra Small (55 × 45 cm), Small (70 × 50 cm), Medium (90 × 70 cm), Large (115 × 85 cm) and Superlarge / XXL (140 × 95 cm).     The fabric decides how the colour behaves. Giant corduroy has the chunky rib of a 1970s armchair and hides hair well; canvas cotton has the matte, honest look of a linen sofa; velvet catches the light; the leather look wipes clean; and the coated outdoor fabric shrugs off wet paws.     Is the cover washable?

    Yes. The cover zips off and goes in the washing machine; follow the care label inside the cover. The inner cushion does not absorb water and can be washed by hand with a mild detergent, rinsed thoroughly and dried completely, turning it now and then.

    Which sizes are available in pink?

    All five, from Extra Small (55 × 45 cm) to Superlarge / XXL (140 × 95 cm), depending on the fabric. The size guide on each product lists the breeds that fit; if in doubt, take the larger size.

    Can I get a pink cover for a bed I already have?

    Yes, if it is one of ours. The pink extra covers fit every Dog's Companion inner cushion in the same size, so you can change the colour of a bed without replacing it.

    Will it fit my interior?

    That is the idea. The shades are furniture colours, chosen to go with sofas, floors and rugs. Free samples let you check the colour at home before you order.

    How do I order, and how fast is delivery?

    Order securely online and pay by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or wire transfer. Orders placed on weekdays before 14:30 are dispatched the same day from our workshop in the Netherlands, with DHL or DPD, typically within 1 to 4 working days across most of Europe.
